ST LOUIS (LALATE) – The UEFA Euro 2016 qualifiers for the European Championship France are back underway today. Nine games head to the field in European Championship Qualifying matches today June 12, 2015. But what are the current standings, rankings, scores, and brackets?
Today’s European Championship Qualifying matches. features Iceland vs Czech Republic, Latvia vs Netherlands, Bosnia-Herzegovina vs Israel, Wales vs Belgium, and Croatia vs Italy.
For each group, the top two teams advance to the finals tournament. The third place team heads either to the finals or the playoffs. And the bottom three teams are eliminated after the Group action.
In Group A, Czech Republic and Iceland are in fist and second position while Netherlands is in third. Turkey and Latvia are among the teams facing elimination. In Group B, Belgium and Wales are in first and second, while Israel is in third. Meantime Cyprus and Bosnia are in jeopardy of elimination. In Group C, Slovakia and Spain are in the top two positions, Ukraine is in the third, but Belarus is in jeopardy.
Group D is a difficult group. It features the Republic of Ireland is jeopardy, Scotland in third, and Poland and Germany in the top two spots. But the big group to watch is Group H. In that Group, Italy is only two points out of third position. They are in second behind Croatia, in first, followed by Norway.
